Petroleum-Gas University of Ploieşti from Romania is an unique institution in Europe, which trains engineers required by the petroleum and gas industry (i.e. specialists in drilling, mechanical equipments for petroleum industry, process control, refining and petrochemistry, environmental protection).
The present academic structure of the university includes five faculties:
o Faculty of Petroleum and Gas Engineering
o Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
o Faculty of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry
o Faculty of Letters and Sciences
o Faculty of Economic Sciences
At present, our University organizes: Bachelor Degree Programmes; Master Degree Programmes; Doctoral Degree Programmes; Part-Time Learning Programmes and Preparatory Year to learn Romanian Language.
